Meet: Victoria Moronta

by Melanie Audrey June 09, 2015

Hey Storytellers!

We're so excited to introduce you to one of our amazing collaborators, meet Victoria Moronta! We've been working with Victoria for a little over 6 months and in that time her and her beautiful long locks have taken some incredibly dreamy shots of our bracelets. We always see a beautiful story come out of our collaborations with her. Check out our little Q&A with Victoria below so you can get to know her a little better!
What do you do for a living?
I'm a freelance model by day and a CNA (certified nursing assistant) by night. I work the night shift at a children's hospital, a little secret not many people know. I'm also in a bachelors program as a full-time student.

What do you love about it?
Freelance modeling? I love to create and inspire. Modeling is the best of both worlds. Working at the children's hospital? Everything. I have seen the smallest, sickest babies leave the hospital healthy and happy. It makes my heart so full, it's why I love what I do.

If we told you you had the opportunity to nominate someone to inspire our next bracelet who would you choose to nominate and why?
My mom. I've grown up with a lot of girls that envied the friendship and respect my mom and I have for each other. I hope every girl can find a way to let their moms in their life's, they're the best secret keepers and life long best friends <3

Use 3-5 words to describe your personality
Free spirited, gypsy soul

What's one piece of advice you would give your younger self?
Stop wishing for the weekends.

What would you do if you won 10 million dollars?
I'd imagine it'd involve a plane ticket and globetrotting.

What kind of things do you love to do on your time off?
Travel / explore / create. Just get outside my element.

What are 3 places you would love to visit?
Bali was at the tip top of that list, but I'll be there this week :)
I'd like to eventually visit Fiji and New Zealand too!

What is one thing on your bucket list?
Once a year (at least) - go to a place I've never been before.

Do you have a quote you live by?
Don't settle. Don't finish crappy books. If you don't like the menu, leave the restaurant. If you're not on the right path, get off it.
- Chris Brogan

Coffee or tea?
Coffee then tea.

Hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about Victoria! You can find her on Instagram @_victoriamoronta

Cheers!
- MA
